Of course notebook. Having a portable computer feels like a boss. With PC; you can use internet only in house. But with a laptop, you can use it everywhere.
Yea, gaming laptops are cool.

Really, I can't do ANYTHING with a "gaming" laptop. First of all you may not play games at school, so you don't need this huge shitload of added graphic thingys.
Second; Laptops have worse specs than Desktops. Everybody knows that.

My notebook is faster then many of your pc's cuz of hard disk.I have SSD 250gb i spend 700€ on it.
At first i thought you were kidding, but i lol'd anyway.
My HDD has 1TB, and HDD doesn't affect too much your computer's speed. Processor does, RAM does.
Anyway, PC all the way:
Compatible with most things (Mac doesn't without annoying iSuck external apps, automatically excluded)
Games are made for PCs, not for laggy Macs, since i'm a gamer i choose PC again.
Notebooks have screens like 800x600 or 1024x768 (big for notebooks), i prefer my lovely 1366x768 16:9 monitor (plus HDMI cable, for better image).
Gaming notebooks are really expensive, i live in this shit they call Brazil so... i'm compared to anyone who has a medium-high money class as a poor shit.
Notebooks/Laptops are portable, however at the same price desktop computers have better specifications.
I'd have to say PC because I'm in no need to carry my computer around. I'm also in no need to have a mac--because I can do everything on a PC already & it's cheaper for better specifications.
Though Mac wouldn't be my first choice, it is the next on my list. I do plan to get one soon so I can develop iOS applications.

That's your laptop?
1) It's funny how you chose the most powerful one. I don't believe you actually have it
2) If you really have it and paid so much money for a laptop - you're a retard.
I just puted link of best gaming laptop.

What is better for you? I created this thread cuz today I buyed a notebook. For me Pc is better. Don't ask why.
It would've been a great help if you actually included more information such as what you're going to use a computer for. Are you using it for home? school? college? university?
Personally, I wouldn't suggest a Mac because, IMO, they aren't that great to use (and they're heavily overpriced as it is)
Fuck all who say desktop's are better than laptops, my R40k lappie is better than most desktop setups.
Also, fuck all who say Macs/iMacs/whatever_apple_products_you_can_think_of are better than the Windows/Linux/BSD/anything_but_mac_os-running PC.
