Recently I've heared a lot about in-browser operating systems like eyeOS and all the stuff. Since CSS3 and HTML5 gives powerful tools to make one, I've decided to try myself with my own Web 2.0 OS.
The name I've chosen is MintOS (yep, it's open source: http://mintos.googlecode.com)
As soon as I'll have something working, I'm going to launch a closed alpha testing with some people of you (PM me describing why'd I chose you). After such testing and some more progress public beta will be annouced (open for everyone).
I'm not sure how much people out of here would like to try it out. Since my free webhost has 10 000 MB capacity and 100 000 MB of monthly transfer, I think I could give you ~500 MBs of cloud storage to use with MintOS for free.
If you'd like to support me with hosting, coding, design, etc. feel free to reply/PM. I'll gladly use it and notice you when doing tests, listening to feedbacks and so on. A thankyou inside the OS for you possible
