How about a gravity-sphre like thing?
You could set ent_gravspher to a map and set it`s pull / push-force, so it`s kinda like gravity.
Also, that can be modified to "boost-plates" and stuff - like in racegames!

It is not impossible if you think about it. It doesn't need to be 3D to add such nice physics and gravity effects.
Think it like looking at object from about. When its closer, higher, it will be large, but if it is far, lower, it is smaller.
Its just a theory, if it can't be made in BlitzMax, its okay!

I think you won't be able to move dynamyc objects around, atleast not a by-pixel movement.

I mean - the players move nicely, so why not objects?

Yep, he wrote that he has made a lua script that is able to do that, but he, as he said, didn't decided where to put it...
, and people could not go through it from the sides or back. Also, I think cs2d really needs an obstacle building, like sandbag to match the barricade and obstacle lvl 1,2 and 3. That's about all I want . OMG, why you all want GRAVITY to cs2d it's impossible ...

That will warn the (newbie) players that they're in danger and a delay of 1-10 seconds (default + customizable) before the damage takes place on all of these.
