The bug is caused by FlooD's lag compensation, which had a bug with armor (kevlar (+helm) works great though).

Even though a new version was released recently, the armor bug still hasn't been fixed. I wrote a fix for that which worked, forgot where I have it though. I'll look around a bit and post it when I found it.

I do have an untested fix ready for you:
