Record? Nah. I've done that quite a few times. Problem is: the server lags like shit if their distant from each other.
For example, a few days ago I played with user Ice-cream16, user Yates, user RAVENOUS and the server got full. There was a dude there called "Google" (his name was written in special characters, he was probably from Africa or Asia). We went to the download screen, and eh, it took AGES to load! The game constantly frozen... it was mayhem. So don't be proud of having lots of people in a single server....

This thread is about CC's popularity. Of course user provided content is helping CC to survive out there in the big cruel world of computer games, but still this thread is the wrong place to promote your own files.

Btw: I don't think it's the best idea to upload other games contents. This could probably lead to problems.

I would host, not on my own PC though (vps--no dedicated client)--when I'm in the lobby for more then a few minutes I get pissed and just quit...it's really just a friends game not like cs2d where you can just find a server and instantly play
