

Also note that CS2D is not made for modding (and will never be). You can mod it a bit because I added all that Lua stuff (which wasn't originally planned either) but REAL modding (like changing/removing the existing weapons in a clean and real way for instance) is impossible and I'm currently not planning to change this as it would basically mean that I would have to rewrite the game from scratch.
And WHEN rewriting it from scratch I could also simply switch to Unity3D and add a lot of fancy stuff. But at the moment that isn't an option either. I don't have time and I actually don't even want to do it because I already rewrote this game from scratch at least two times.
I would rather create a new 2D topdown shooter which is designed for modding (and actually uses 3D) than rewriting CS2D for Unity3D. Because I actually dislike that CS2D is just a clone of a 3D game (with additions, improvements and changes of course but still...) and a huge copyright infringement
