@user floria: There's nothing you could "fight" DoS or (D)DoS attacks. Since they rely merely on machine resources you cannot prevent it unless you get a huge bandwidth and dramatic incremental of hardware specs - speaking for (D)DoS attack cases. As I recall, user DC won't switch to another server because it is not worth the effort.
