Hi, i made better version of knife_arena. Maybe on screens you cant see a lot of changes but read the change log. On 3 first screens you cant see background, sorry but i made it before i added bacground :P.

Whats new?

√ Some new tiles
√ Added sound of "boom" in start of every round
√ New background (made by me)
√ Changed item spots
√ Added some grass, fire, steam and other things
√ And also added that square, and expanded some passages.
√ Deleted machetes - its knife_arena not machete_arena
√ I think that i forgotten about something... i will edit it when i will remind it.

Minecraft has better shading. Well, when you turn the "Smooth Shading" option on... whihc is a must for guys with real PCs.

Anywai, map is relatively okay. However I am not a fan of knife areas since no one really plays them and it's nigh on impossible to hit someone with 32 ping when yours is 250.

I know about tiles, but its standard tileset - maybe i will make some tileset by me some time, then i will edit it. I can use some tileset from other maps but then i would have to ask owner of it before puting it here, am i right? Or maybe i can only put the credits to the author?

First I must agree with oxy because it does look a bit like Minecraft, but also I must agree with you 'cause it gives a good atmosphere to the night scene. It's good, but I'd be more pleased to see a different tileset.

I'll like only because of your idea with the lights and the shape.
I like it!

I thought it adds some atmosphere to that night isn't it? Maybe it looks like minecraft but there is some light not only picture of streetlight. Download and test it, on screens maybe its not looking good but in game i think it is really nice.

Stop shading like that. It's CS2D, not Minecraft.
