I created an Map, i worked on this Map several Hours. Now i wanted to play with the Map and it said "failed to load Map". I wanted to load the Map in the Editor but the same Error Message appeared again.

I have used the search function and i think the Problem is the tileset, i made an tileset by my own for this map, i did some tilesets from other Maps together to 1 big tileset.

Now i opened the Map with "textdokumet" (sorry i dont know the english word) and changed the tilesetname to an other tileset, but it didnt worked.

I really need to get this Map back i worked 1 Day at it

I have removed a Part so its only 360 Tiles; and it loaded the Map now! But the Map crashes, you know why? The Error Message is gone, it loads the Map but then cs2d stands still!

@doom15

I dont know what Teros places are?!! And why ct wrong texture?

@New Rex

Did you mean I should trigger something ore it that should be in cs2d? help!

@GreatRit

the Reduce to 360 had the Result that the Error MEssage disappeared, and i only removed 10 Tiles ore so, so i think its not that Problem anymore?!

Tero's places are terrorist places (info_t). He didn't ment ct wrong texture.
He said: "did you put terrorist places (entities) and counter-terrorist places (entities).

Also he said:
see if you used wrong texture..

I have no idea what New Rex was talking about, but GreatRit said that tile limit is 255 tiles. More than that would cause errors.

Hope you now understand

Yes i placed info(respawn)-Points! And removing the Tiles from 370 to 360 Tiles solved! the Error Message Problem, but the new Problem is that the Map crashes.

What did you mean by "wrong texture"? The Tiles i used are standard cs2d Tiles but added together.

Now that i have reduced the Tileset to 255 the Error comes AGAIN! When i reduced it to exactly 360 the Error disappeared but cs2d crashed when i wanted to load the Map,now with 255 Tiles (bmp)...The old error again... ~_^ I loved this Map

ANY Idea?

No! What I said had nothing to do with CS2D triggers!

Triggered here means "display", "make it".
So...
√ "(...) It seems CS2D turned "Snowy Protection" into "Tile Protection"."
× "(...) It seems you need to add a trigger to your map".
The second one is wrong, I didn't mention that.
The problem must reside in your tileset or map size.

I reduced the tiles to 160, and the Map Size was 50*50 i think. So now i have no Idea how to get my Map back (If i would knew everything i would spend a Day and make it again, but i dont)

I don't see nothing wrong now...
In extreme cases (that this could turn into), you'd had to restart it...

But try uploading your map in any place and sending the link here, so someone could help.

"Failed to load map" could also happen when there is an graphical sprite entity featured in the map but not in your folder.

Like when you copy only the map to an new version of cs2d without copying its sprites/tiles it will say "Failed to load map" because of missing files.

But your problem seems to be laying on limit of tiles. If thats fixed and still got the problem try investigate above mentioned problem...

No there no Missing its the Tiles.

Ok couse i rly wanne get this map back(!) i tell you what i think:

The Sprites removing from 370 to 360 solved the Problem but the Map still crashed, reducing to 255 and the Error appeared again; so i think:

The Tiles under 255 are in use and the Map wants to get this Tiles, but it cants couse there no there.

You understand? So i must somehow open that Map with more Tiles and reduce then...?

edit:

538976288,

this is the Scroll Size in the Map properties now.

Its like this now; i made the tileset bigger again but with other tiles (i hadnt got the original ones anymore)and could load the Map, but:

Before it was like a Box 100*100, now its 20* 1000 ore so (properties are 1000*1000, i mean the actual map) and totally different.

AND: The Whole Map, also where i cant edit, is over and over with a white, like smoke always the same. Everything has a White thing like a frozen Window, but i didnt used any Entities ore something, and i only edited the tiles smaller, and later bigger again. So my Map is totally destroyed now?

I ONLY CAME HERE BECOUSE MY MAP, PLEASE HELP

edit 2: the white was the Minimap (what was giantic) i turned it off, so now i have a 1000*1000 Map with a Giant Line of Stuff i never builded, and my Actually Box is away...And dont think it was a silly little box, i builded one Day...
