the server guide in the FAQ tells you that you sometimes can't see your own router in the in-game server list due to routing issues. this is pretty normal. (good job on not reading the FAQ!)

it doesn't make sense to check the availability of your server from your own network anyway because this will not give you correct results.

better ask a friend to check it.
