I have this very weird problem with server. So basically i have port forwarded cs2d port as you can see here http://i.imgur.com/fAixzEB.png

When i launch my server (cs2d_dedicated.exe) I get this

and yes it gets added to cs2d server list on usgn

My problem is that i can't find it on cs2d server list and yes i have tried lan tab and still there is no server. (also i have checked my filters and tried to join with my local ip)

When i tested port in yougetsignal it gives me this

What's the line AFTER "starting server..."? That line is crucial because there it SHOULD try to use the UDP port which is specified in the server settings.

The server is using another port than specified. This can happen but it should be reachable over the specified port anyway. It's normal that you can't see it in the LAN tab when the port is not 36963. Only servers with port 36963 are scanned and listed there.

You should be able to join it by using the address 127.0.0.1:63345 (or 63344 the screenshots are showing two different ports) with the "Connect to IP" option in the serverlist.

You may try to open sys/config.cfg and change the line

localport 0
to
1
localport 36963
so the game will instantly try to use port 36963 instead of trying to use a random port first.
Only do this for the dedicated server (separate folder!) and not for the client at the same time because then you would run into a conflict with two programs trying to use the same port (which of course doesn't work).

Also make sure that no other instance of CS2D or the dedicated server is running and that no other program is occupying the port you specified (36963).

You probably can't join it because your router is not configured properly. Make sure that you specified the correct local IP. Maybe you have to add additional rules to make it work for you as well.

Otherwise simply use the client and "New Game". That way you will be server and client at the same time and you won't even run into that problem.

It probably works without forwarding for you then. Of course forwarding port 36963 shouldn't have any effect when you're actually using port 50937. I don't know why the game isn't using the assigned port in some cases. It's somehow related to the UDP network library I'm using.

I could join to my server when i weren't logged in to my usng id, but when i tried to join server while i was logged in to usgn id. I got this on cs2d_dedicated

U.S.G.N. doesn't work properly when joining over LAN (which you are doing when using IP 127.0.0.1). Again the easiest solution would be to not use the dedicated server if you plan to host and play on the same machine.

You could also stay logged out or use the settings to disable the U.S.G.N. login check (cs2d cmd sv_checkusgnlogin).
