Cs2d hosting via Web / PHP
3 replies Hai, I was wondering if this would be possible? I'm willing to make it work via the exec() command and hoping to host multiple servers. I want to know does anyone else use this method or something else?
Cheers, Nighthawk If PHP is installed on your VPS, you can run cs2d_dedicated trough PHP of course. You can also try system(). DC Admin

Do you have a root server? Then of course you can do it. It won't work with simple webspace though. You normally have very limited rights as ordinary customer on pure web hosting servers and of course you don't have the permission to run any application. No chance unless your provider is a huge idiot and forgot to restrict it.

I don't have a root server either, there would be no point in making doing since you can already portforward and run multiple servers directly, unless you're making a 'server panel' for others, which I have no intentions of doing.
