I have just enjoyed playing Stranded1, and I am now eager to play Stranded 2!
Unfortunately I cannot get the game going, so here I am!...
I have browsed this forum thoroughly to find someone with similar problems but cannot really find the help I need...
This is it:
I have, without problems, downloaded the english version to my Toshiba labtop.
I unpacked the files and click the Stranded-icon. The game opens in fullscreen with music, but all I get is a stillpicture with a wreck (?) standing on a small island.
I cannot see my cursor, and the picture is not affected by any clicking or typing...
If I open the StrandedII -win-debug-thingy it sort of opens the game in a small window with sound and a little demo-movie going. But still no possibility of clicking anything...
I have downloaded DirectX 9.0, but it seems to make no difference...
I had no problems with Stranded1 appart from it being a little slow...
My computerskills are not that many, so please write respond to me in a non-pro-english

Thank you for the replies!
I tried to play via the strandedII-win-file yesterday and was able to open the games -yeah! I played only very shortly, so I will just check it again now more thoroughly before i change a whole lot...
I´ll be back!!
